The goals of marketing haven’t changed but the forms have shifted. Sparking this Metamorphosis on the 9th of September 2022, The Bhawanipur Education Society College, The Department of Commerce held an event named ‘Marketing Metamorphosis- A Breakaway from Tradition’ which commenced from 11a.m. at the Jubilee Hall, on Marketing with different activities, quizzes and competitions.
In the beginning Prof. Dilip Shah made the opening speech followed by the coordinator of the event Prof. Luxmi Jha, Prof. Divya P. Udeshi, and Prof. Nitin Chaturvedi. The event ‘Guess the Product’ began at 11 a.m where the participants and the audience had to guess the products through the taglines and the logos. Around 12 noon the event ‘Product Pitching’ began where the Teams like Assimilators, Singhi Bros, PS Brothers, Hotshots, Lucifer, Bigshots, Black Bulls etc. had to pitch their respective products within the time frame of 2 minutes. Lastly, the event ‘Meme Competition’ began where the participants shed light on the marketing scenario through their memes.
At the end of the event the participants were awarded, and a vote of thanks was given. The important takeaway from the event was that “The focus of marketing does not change, only the form changes” and “Jo dikhta hai wahi bikta hai”.
