The objective of the event: To celebrate World Water Day.
Brief description of the event: The NSS unit of The Bhawanipur Education Society College organised a meaningful and impactful event to commemorate World Water Day. The focus was on raising awareness about water conservation and promoting positive actions within the community.
Key Activities: Awareness Campaign – Volunteers conducted an engaging awareness campaign, emphasizing the importance of water conservation. They highlighted simple yet effective ways to save water in our daily lives.
Drawing Competition (Theme: Save Water): Students from various schools participated in a creative drawing competition. The theme was “Save Water,” encouraging young minds to express their ideas through art. The colourful and thought-provoking artworks reflected the urgency of preserving this precious resource.
Assessment of Connecting Dots: Twenty-seven girls successfully completed a 6-month course on Spoken English and General Knowledge. This course was conducted by NSS volunteers. The initiative aimed to empower these young learners with essential life skills.
Outcome of the event: The NSS unit’s efforts on World Water Day underscored the significance of collective action in safeguarding our environment. By educating, engaging, and empowering the community, they contributed to a more water-conscious society.
