When the students graduating from The Bhawanipur College were asked ‘what were the most memorable moments you had during these last 3-year journeys? Eventually, every student with the same enthusiasm said, “it’s the Graduation Felicitation Ceremony”.
Every year this ceremony takes place at Kalamandir or the GD Birla auditorium. Around 300-400 students graduate from the college with first division, but this time all the records broke having over 1000 students graduating with the first division from the college. Amidst the pandemic, the college decided to change the arrangements to ensure students’ health and safety. On the 11th, 12th and 13th day of April 2021. The college organised the convocation ceremony, which took place in the newly designed Concept Hall of the college. Generally, every year the ceremony is a one-day affair but this time due to the pandemic the ceremony was divided into 10 slots, to comply COVID-19 protocols.
It is a moment of pride for the parent when their child is felicitated in front of a large crowd. Due to the ongoing situation, the students’ parents were not invited to the ceremony. He said that their relationship with the college will always remain.
