Art is something which has been used since ancient times and has constantly evolved in the wheel of time. “A picture can say a thousand words” came from the origin of art.
On Friday November 26th, the Art in Me collective conducted a workshop, with Ms. Devangi Vora. The workshop was also attended by Mr. Abhideep Kundu, a proficient artist, who specialises in Urban Sketching.
The workshop commenced at around 11 am, with an average attendance of around 35 participants. They were taught about the necessities of the art- required tools and instruments, procedure to draw, etc. The students were eager to know more from him. Mr. Abhideep gave the students a live demonstration of urban sketching by sketching the College Turf which was mesmerizing. The students were then asked to draw the same, which they eagerly did.
He constantly guided the students and gave them the basic concept of urban sketching.
The event concluded at around 1 pm. What the students learned from this workshop is quite simple- art is something which doesn’t have any boundary, for one can etch literally anything on a paper which comes to their mind!
The interaction with the students and their enthusiasm impressed Mr. Abhideep and thus was a fabulous session!
