The online Induction for the dance collective took place on Zoom meetings led by Prof. Dilip Shah and the Teacher Coordinator Prof. Minakshi Chaturvedi. The representatives from the collective Kirsten Samuels, Deepak Shrestha, Muskaan Thakker and Kaushal Agarwal organized the proceedings of the meeting. They were a total of 200 freshers present at the meeting.
Prof. Dilip Shah gave a profound speech about the true essence of dance and why the collective is known as Flames. Prof. Minakshi Chaturvedi shared a very close and personal testimony about her love and passion for dance and how the collective is significant and interlinked to the various functions at the College. Senior batch students Russian Bose and Shaheli Ghosh shared their experiences about their journey and how flames has made an impact. The current representatives spoke about the commitment and dedication required and announced upcoming plans i.e., Workshops, Regular dance classes, BDC, Umang etc. were discussed. At the end of the meeting a video of the western team in BDC’19 was shown to all the freshers.
All in all, the Induction was a success with the overwhelming response received.

The More you Celebrate your Life, the More there is in Life to Celebrate with the UTSAV Collective, Induction was conducted for the Semester-I students. As a collective which believes in ‘Celebrating Festivals’ and producing great experienced event managers had a participation of about 496 participants.
The Dean of Student Affairs, Prof. Dilip Shah, initiated the conversation by addressing the students and spoke on how all should work together and organize successful events. He also mentioned that during the COVID-19 Pandemic period the college has organised more than 40 online events. We also had Prof. Minakshi Chaturvedi who gave a brief note on the role of Utsav in the college.
The college student representatives of the Collective – Gaurav Killa & Shrey Khandelwal, spoke in detail about the various departments managed under the collective. Gaurav conveyed that college life, being the most radiant, colourful time of one’s life demands some sincere approach.
The collective representatives spoke about the upcoming events which the college will do at the Inter college level and discuss about one of the main events in the calendar “The Event Management Workshop” where all the students will be trained and guided how to manage events by leading event managers of the city.
At the end, an interactive session with the first-year students was held. The representatives showed the videos of past events such as; Umang our annual fest and provided information the way how we at Bhawanipur college organize events in a successful manner with full zest and cooperation.
ENACT INDUCTION

Keep Calm & Act On with the ENACT Collective, Induction was conducted for the Semester-I students online via Zoom meeting. There were around 150 people attending the event, including a few ex-Enact members including passed out, present members, Prof. Dilip Shah and our guest speakers, Palash Chaturvedi and Prachi Chabra from Sifar. The present batch of Enact members had specially recorded a few clips from past plays for this event and that is how the event started, followed by an enlightening session with Mr. Palash who performed a small monologue from his own production. Ms.Prachi spoke about her initiative Sifar and what is theatre and art in an artist’s life using quotes by Shah Rukh Khan.
Prof. Dilip Shah then addressed the students by telling them about the activities of the collective. The present members then closed the meeting after apprising students about The Bhawanipur Theatre Festival and the various events it encompasses. A small question and answer session followed and then everyone bid adieu with a promise to meet soon and initiate the various plans.

ASSEMBLY OF NATIONS

The AON Induction initiated with an overview of the collective wherein the past activities of the collective were explained. This was followed with an interactive session with the students, especially those who had attended MUNs before. A PowerPoint presentation was shown with the different activities undertaken by AON and a weeklong schedule of upcoming activities, starting with a Mock MUN the very next week was discussed.
The mock MUN provided for a start and a base of practice for the students. This was followed by Research and practice sessions. The working of MUN was also explained, and it was shown to the students through PPT on how to research and how to keep themselves updated with global news. The induction ended with a brief debate between students that was very engaging and provided the students with a realistic view on complete structure of MUN.
QUIZZARD INDUCTION

The online Induction took place on zoom platform with Prof Dilip Shah and Dr. Vasundhra Mishra along with 10 to 15 students of the first year. The induction started with a brief introduction of quizzard followed by an interactive session between Prof. Dilip Shah and the students about different ideas relating to quizzard. After that there was a small quizzing session with the quiz book published by our college. Lastly the student representative of the collective, Khushboo Kedia had a discussion regarding the feedback and future events for the present academic year.

The Induction started at 4:00pm on Zoom meetings with approximately 80 students were present during the induction. The session started with the introduction of Binod and Chirag, the collective student representatives. They explained the essential activities covered by collective. They introduced new activities in the collective this year namely fashion photography, makeup, and hairstyling. One of the members of the Expression collective named Satya Soham Pradhan also joined the induction and gave a few tips and advices on fashion photography.
Prof. Dilip Shah also joined and briefed the induction. Sir also shared the vitality of the collective throwing light upon the important areas. Lastly Ms. Geraldine, the mentor of the Fashionista Collective joined and expressed her views for the collective.
This induction was conducted for the first-year students. In this induction the activities and meaning of the collective was explained in detail to help the newcomers get a proper and clear idea of the collective so that they may be integrated with the initiative of this vertical.

Art is the journey of a free Soul as Student Coordinator, Nandita Pandey introduced the Collective AIM followed by Prof. Dilip Shah inspiring students about the various activities clubbed in the Collective. The senior students shared their experience and informed the freshers how their artistic skill can evolve by participating in various events and workshops. Prof Dilip Shah also spoke about the achievements of the collective and focused on the part that how this collective is a heart of every event. Nandita spoke about the various upcoming events, competitions, and workshops. The induction ended with a doubt clearing session.
The Bhawanipur Education Society College under the banner of Yi BhawanipurChaupal conducted an industrial visit. Though it was officially an industrial visit, the true purpose was much deeper.
