Rollicks has established itself as a prominent player in the industry, with a rich history dating back to its inception in 1989.
Briefing Session:
The visit commenced with a briefing session at 11:35 AM, where key aspects of Rollicks’ operations were highlighted. It was revealed that the company has undergone significant growth, with its production capacity increasing from 30 crore to 150 crore since its launch in 2009. Notably, Rollicks has diversified its product range to include a variety of frozen desserts, including ice creams, kulfi, and soon-to-be-launched products like mango solvet.
Production Process:
Rollicks’ production process was meticulously explained, showcasing their in-house preparation of ingredients such as chocolate paste, palm oil, and butter. The utilization of skimmed milk in frozen desserts was emphasized, along with the advanced machinery and techniques employed to ensure product quality and consistency.
Manufacturing Equipment:
Various manufacturing equipment, sourced from renowned manufacturers in Italy and Germany, were observed in operation. Notable machines include the bon bon machine, cup machine, cone machine, and ministick machine, each designed to cater to specific production requirements with high efficiency and precision.
