Objective of the event: The Workshop was organized to create awareness to the students about PowerPoint Presentation focussing on the Tutorial Component of the University of Calcutta Examinations.
Brief description of the event: The Department of Political Science organised a Workshop “How to Create PowerPoint Presentation on 23rd December,2024 for the students of Semester 1 & 3. A total of 59 students actively participated in the Workshop which acquainted them with the basics of Powerpoint Presentation. The students were taught how to make a powerpoint presentation. They were also given demonstrations on how to present Powerpoint infront of panel members.
Outcome of the event: The workshop was a huge success as students got a detailed idea about how to present through Power Point. Their doubts and queries were effectively resolved.

The topic of debate was ‘Struggle is not necessary for success’. The time allotted to each speaker was three minutes and an additional one minute.
Now was the time for the solo classical dance competition; the judge for the event was Mrs.Urmila Bhaumik, a renowned Bharatnatyam and Odissi dancer.
