Objective of the event: The objective of the event “Community Catalyst: A One Day Outreach Activity” was to bring moments of joy and support to underprivileged children in the slums near Hastings Flyover, Kolkata. The event, in collaboration with Aalok Foundation and the NSS Unit of the college, focused on enhancing the lives of 36 children aged between 3 to 13 years

Brief description of the event: Upon arrival at the venue, the team efficiently set up a distribution center where each child received stationery kits containing notebooks, pencils, erasers, and coloring materials. This gesture was met with smiles and gratitude from the children, who eagerly engaged in creating thank-you cards and drawings for the college team, showcasing their artistic talents and appreciation. Additionally, the event featured interactive sessions of music and enjoyable activities facilitated by the departmental faculty and students. These sessions were designed to encourage laughter, bonding, and a sense of camaraderie among the participants, further enriching the experience for both the children and the volunteers.
