At The Bhawanipur Education Society College an increasing number of student graduates with the hopes of enrolling in higher education degrees abroad were a part of a consultancy session initiated by Global Reach regarding overseas education. Global Reach, an institution that has been in the field of higher education abroad for more than 32 years, boasts of some of the most efficient minds as their counselors to guide students in their initial journey of studying abroad. Three of the counselors from the Kolkata branch of Global Reach graced the session to provide answers to individual queries of interested students.
On the 14th of March, the session started at noon in the Society Hall with more than 30 inquisitive students aiming to add more information to their research. The speakers for the day were Ms. Arunima Bhattacharya for all countries; Ms. Stephanie Choudhary for other countries like Dubai, Singapore, Canada, USA, Malta, Germany; Ms. Sheryl Biswas for Australia & New Zealand, who came to speak in their assigned countries and also answer queries related to the same. The open forum session started with a quiz round where Ms. Bhattacharya asked 4 questions to the audience based on their general knowledge about other countries. The correct answers were awarded with a prize. After the quiz round, the counselors began to enquire about their dreams, goals, and the steps they had taken to turn them into reality.
Now that the students were open to critical evaluation, the counseling session began with students approaching the desks of the individual countries and counselors whom they wanted to seek information from. In the counseling session, the mentors guided the students on fields such as which country to choose, what financial preparation required, which courses to opt for, and also what possible living accommodations would be most suitable.
The counseling session went on till 1:30 PM when all students received insightful information on their plans of studying abroad. The event concluded at 1:30 PM and was confirmed to be a success in showing graduating students the right direction to chase their dreams.
