Lack of access to medicines causes a cascade of misery and suffering, from no relief for the excruciating pain. This need often goes unmet, NSS wing of The BESC took an initiative to give access to essential medicines to an orphanage and old-age home as it is part of the right to the attainable standard of health.
The project aims to reach out to old people who need medicines. The NSS Unit of The Bhawanipur Education Society College organized a “Med-drive” at Kamakhya Balakashram and Nadibhag Shri Ramkrishna Sevashram. On November 22, 2022, 2 students representing NSS and NSS coordinator visited Kamakhya Balakashram with a box full of medicines contributed by students and faculty members.
We thank the management of the college and all the students and faculty members who came forward for this noble cause.
