They go to a place, where they feel, the audience will appreciative and will provide them with the opportunity to connect with the youth.
And appreciative, the audience of a hundred students was, listening spell bound as RK Parveen did what he does best – use his extraordinarily powerful narrative to weave a spell.
He read selected excerpts from his recently published horror fiction – ek kahani aisi bhi to the blood-cuddling delight of the hundred odd students who had trooped in to be scared.
The session also witnessed RJ Parveen recounting his journey – the roller coaster that life has been for him, how he drifted into the vocation that is now his profession and how he has curved out his distinct niche in the airwaves by telling tales of horror that others were just too sceptical (or is it scared) to touch.
The interactive session that followed was equally exciting with a student from the audience recounting a real-life experience that had even the raconteur gasping.
The event was organised by Harleen Kaur.
The report has been filed by Nitin Waghela of the Expressions Collective of the BESC.
